Barriers, sand and mud, oh my!

You simply cannot be considered a serious bike company in the Pacific Northwest, if you don’t have cyclocross bikes. The CX3 is our lightweight, no nonsense cyclocross offering that's ready for anything a cross course has to offer.

With forward geometry, the CX3 gives you more of an “in the bike” feel rather than perched on top, improving control through the slickest mud and off-camber turns.  Details like clever internal cable routing, floating rear derailleur hanger nut and flat mount 160 disc brakes round out the incredible value that is the CX3.

Every year around mid summer our Instagram and Facebook feeds start filling up with #crossiscoming. Well, cross is here and it’s here to stay.

FEATURES

Features

6061 ALUMINUM FRAME AND TORAY CARBON FORK

Made from 6061 butted aluminum the CX3 frame is lightweight, stiff through the spine and vertically compliant because of the smart shaping of the custom tubes. A high quality multi-modulus layup is used for the CX3 fork, making it strong where it needs to be, yet lightweight where it can be.

FORWARD GEOMETRY

Forward geometry pairs a longer top tube with a shorter stem, pushing the front wheel forward, and slightly shifting the rider weight for improved handling, both on and off-road.

FLAT MOUNT 160 DISC BRAKES

Superior braking power with 160mm HRD hydraulic disc brakes mounted directly to the frame for a clean look and reducing the chance of brake squeal.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Clever fully internal cable routing not commonly found on aluminum bikes, keeps the shifter cable away from dirt and grime, allowing for smooth shifting for many miles.

FLOATING DERAILLEUR HANGER

Rear axle installation is a breeze. The frame utilizes a floating derailleur hanger nut, allowing it to automatically align with the rear axle during installation.

SRAM RIVAL 1 DRIVETRAIN

SRAM 1x drivetrain offers the full range of gearing you need and includes HRD hydraulic brakes, providing effortless braking with precise control.

STANS GRAIL S1 TEAM WHEELS

6061 alloy rims offer great strength and durability, with a wide rim profile offering a stable tire platform for improved control and reduced rolling resistance; Stans Neo hubs with sealed bearings and Sapim Race black butted spokes round out this strong and durable wheelset.

DONNELLY PDX TUBELESS TIRES

When there is mud on the course the Donnelly PDX is the tire of choice. It’s race-proven PDX tread and innovative tubeless design create the ultimate tubeless ready cyclocross tire.  Aggressive side knobs offer superior cornering, and the leading edge of the knob gives you extra traction for acceleration out of the corner. Whether it’s mud, loose dirt, snow or sand, the PDX can handle it all.

GEOMETRY

Geometry

Noble drop bar bikes feature forward geometry. This pairs longer top tubes with shorter stems. The net result is a fit similar to traditional road geometry, but with different handling. Forward geometry pushes the front wheel forward, slightly shifting the rider weight for improved handling.

Our drop bar geometry is built around effective top tube length. If two sizes have a difference between head angle and seat angle, reach can be close or the same but fit will be different. Effective top tube length should be used for fit, but reach can be used as a reference.
